1. Behold, I am in bliss and joy, in health of limbs,
By the remembrance of Muhammad.

2. From yearning appeared to me what I cannot endure,
To see the grave of the Hashimite, Muhammad.

3. Light appears to us in Yathrib wherever
We reached the quarters of the Prophet Muhammad.

4. My praise, remembrance, affection and obedience,
And eulogy is for the best of mankind, Muhammad.

5. He drew near and leaned down without distance,
But out of honor for the worth of Muhammad.

6. Leave your reproach of me, O reproacher,
For I insist on my praise and love of Muhammad.

7. God’s approval is right in following His Messenger,
And obeying him, O companion, is Muhammad’s religion.

8. Every care has departed my heart by his praise,
And no eulogy succeeds like praising Muhammad.

9. His praise settled in every heart as his name settled
Among the people’s names, the name Muhammad.

10. His treasuries are full of bounty, so who
Sees the satisfactions of favors like Muhammad?

11. My time has passed in idleness,
For through it I did not live praising Muhammad.

12. I bear witness that God favored him over
All creatures—who is like Muhammad?

13. His deeds are appreciated and his actions
Effective, so yearn for the religion of Muhammad.

14. The light of the brilliance of one whose face radiated light,
So there is no face in the world like Muhammad’s face.

15. The sea of my passion overflowed in visiting his grave,
So is there a grave in the world like Muhammad’s grave?

16. The shades of the gardens of eternity and success tomorrow
Are for one who seeks the religion of the Prophet Muhammad.

17. Eyes by him were sated and their happiness remained
At what they saw of the beauty of Muhammad’s face.

18. My passion for him is everlasting, not ceasing,
As praising him can never be enough.

19. Woe to people who denied Muhammad,
And blessed are people who believed in Muhammad.

20. The necklaces of my poetry are adorned by his praise,
And is there any poem adorned like Muhammad’s name?

21. God sufficed every deceitful against him,
And Muhammad’s sword destroyed the polytheists.

22. God humiliated whoever turned away from Ahmad’s religion,
And the hands of those who disdained Muhammad’s religion were paralyzed.

23. My praise of him is a debt and his religion is my praise,
So one who recites Muhammad’s praise will never go wrong.

24. My body grew when I was preoccupied by his remembrance,
So, O Lord, enable me to see Muhammad.

25. He is the sweet fresh spring whose drink was good,
So, O Lord, make me drink from Muhammad’s ponds.

26. His nation wields his religion as a sword and they are
The best leaders of mankind through Muhammad.

27. It is easy, our Lord has made it easy,
To visit a grave, that of the intercessor Muhammad.

28. The blessings of God be upon him as long as the zephyr blows
And a being breathes the remembrance of Muhammad.

29. I say to myself, I have seen his image,
Come now, do good for your future, be guided.

30. For this is the good news—you will succeed tomorrow
By seeing a prophet—so praise God, you are praised,

31. And a clear opening that will not be marred by motes,
And mighty victory with happiness, supported.

32. And the marks of blessings and erasing of sins,
And freeing a prisoner bound by sins.

33. And grace, though one was heedless,
And good tidings and remembrance for one guided.

34. So blessed is a servant who makes God One sincerely
And does not harm any creature—and fie on the transgressor.
