1. Peace be upon you, though we are far apart,
And deserts lie between us, vast and wide.

2. A thousand greetings and a thousand praises,
With musk's sweet fragrance as their seal.

3. Thanks and praise that shall not cease,
Enduring, never-fading, ever the same.

4. Cordial love from us will grace you all,
Recalling joys its spring contains.

5. Lines that shine as if they were
Stars gleaming in the darkest night.

6. A gift that outshines the sun in radiance,
We send to you, a precious gem.

7. We grant it to souls of virtue,
No elder nor youth denied its claim.

8. Our thanks and peace be upon you all,
For your goodness raises you to fame.

9. Of all Arab peoples you were created best,
Not Egypt nor Syria can your worth acclaim.

10. We hear the news that you appointed
A leader - that Imam of great name.

11. Aid and obey him, fear God always,
For in the Imam lies your fortune and fame.

12. Be one and united, disperse not,
Lest discord and conflict bring you shame.

13. To aid the Muslim leader is a duty,
Disobeying him forbidden and proscribed.

14. Were we nearby we would not tire,
But our abode and dwellings are far and estranged.

15. When we heard you appointed an Imam,
We rejoiced, for joy was no crime.

16. Congratulations to you, O clan of Jarba,
For upholding the faith as your lofty aim.

17. You have might and power in war,
Ferocity and firmness is your acclaim.

18. Defiant to oppressors, destroying those
Whose rancor and hatred are aberrant and vain.

19. Have God's protection, do not transgress,
For sins are heavy, their burden and bane.

20. O clan of Musab, you are knowledge and guidance,
Your forefathers were the noble and acclaimed.

21. Brandish your swords at the foe valiantly,
Let no weakness or shame in you remain.

22. Do not be cowardly, for fortune awaits you,
Though no elder or youth among you remained.

23. For you are life and comfort to the loyal,
And torment and anguish to those you disdained.

24. You stand for truth, and opposed to you
Are the falsehood of mobs deranged and profane.

25. God upholds those of virtue and piety,
And those whose resolve no fatigue could drain.

26. 'Umayr and 'Amir cannot touch you
If you are just in the open plain.

27. Give the orphans and poor their rights in full,
For God will not let His poor complain.

28. Do not grieve for daily bread,
Nor rejoice at gain, for it is in vain.
