1. I am a sea of satire if you desire my aloofness,
And oceans of praise if you want my intimacy.

2. Do you blame my poetry? Restrain your words and beware,
Lest the severity of my decree befalls you.

3. So beware, beware, beware of
The lion of evil and vanquisher of enemies.

4. O you who can split a boulder with a bottle,
Shorten your absence, O father of commotion.

5. Do you blame it when our eloquent people and all scholars
Have testified for it?

6. No clear-sighted person denies the shining sun,
Except an owl of little sight and blind eyes.

7. Whoever blames it tends towards blame, for
His qualities fell short so he desired to blame.

8. Or hasn't the critic seen in my poetry that I
Am the companion of glory, the owner of banners?

9. Tell him words to open his eyelids,
That I am great in status among the poets.

10. I am like your time as if my qualities
Were imprinted from joy and sorrow.

11. If my power collided with deaf mountains,
It would topple their heights onto the dunes.
