أَن لا يَزالَ مَدى الزَمانِ مُصاحِبي
2. When the excuses on his cheek dried
They wondered at the blackness of the liar's face
٢. لَمّا جَفا العِذارُ بِخَدِّهِ
فَتَعَجَّبوا لِسَوادِ وَجهِ الكاذِبِ
