1. The daughter of al-Samat left her home
When al-Samat al-Adham made ready for her
١. قد فارقَتْ بنتُ السَّماطِ دِيارَها
لمَّا استعدَّ لها السِّماطُ الأعظَمُ
2. And because of her the historian wrote hastily
From the right side of the Throne Mary rose
٢. ولأجلِها كَتَبَ المؤرِّخُ عاجِلاً
مِن عن يمينِ العرشِ قامَت مَريمُ
