1. Today your Lord has given the rain its fullness
And inhabited the house after the emigration of its builder

2. And renewed the august state, returning
What was absent from us yesterday of its homes

3. Time does not leave an eye without tears in it
Nor tears without a wipe that comes to it

4. It sleeps for a while but after its slumber
There must be an awakening in which it is alert for us

5. O Mount Lebanon, do not doubt the thirst for your waters have returned
Flowing in their channels again

6. The comet has returned to its luminous rising
In your land today, so its nights turned white

7. It is the glorious comet, a name for a title
That flows and its words tell its meanings

8. The head of all the clans in Lebanon
Stretch out to it willingly their hands

9. No one in Lebanon feels shy to kiss its palm
From its highest place

10. Nor does anyone see fault in obeying it
There they call it "our master" its loyalists

11. The offspring of Bashir whom the world spoke of
And whose mention spread for ages across its horizons

12. Time passes but the mention of its state remains
In the land, spreading generations and folding them

13. O you who has an elevated position
Of a state the Merciful's regard was its shepherd

14. Good tidings to the countries you became their ruler
Good tidings to its homes, good tidings to its inhabitants

15. You are the prince who still commands
Souls to good and forbids evil

16. The pillar of the countries which its rule
Is accustomed for ages, so it was like some of its bedrocks

17. A near opening from Generous God has come
To the door of the state of glory you became its governor
