1. This is the abode of the lord, the learned scholar
Who inherited perfection from the noble lord

2. The lineage of the pious, the religion's pillar
The righteous judge of the lands, the devout worshipper

3. In his days he was a pillar for the beggars
And the sweetest spring for the visitors

4. One day he passed away by the mercy of his Lord
In a dome that shone for us like a shrine

5. Its chronicler prayed and blessed it saying
Greetings to you who visits Ahmed's dome
