1. O seller of patience, have no mercy on the buyer

With it deficient money becomes plentiful

6. And money is called a friend when needed
But may become an enemy at home

7. O you who grieved over losing money, you were
Created bare and there is no shame in that

8. Just as yesterday that money came, earned
Tomorrow the Almighty Lord will bring it anew

9. The turns of fate run in countries
According to the status of people, measure for measure

10. The winds hit the palm tree, shaking it
But do not shake the branches of acacia and locust

11. If the least surplus remains from you, be small
For it is a piece in the course of courses

12. Grant you are the sun rising in the orbits
Is the sun safe from eclipse and gloom?

13. And the sun in its mansion is a sun even if eclipsed
Its eclipse does not reduce its light

14. Fortune has a day over us that does not last, as
A day we had that did not last in its ruling

15. The branch does not remain bare without fruit
Until you see it with leaves and fruits

16. God will open a door you do not know
And a path not noticed by sights

17. If we cut off hope of relief from the soul
Then we have cut off the mercy of the Creator
