1. Miriam has departed from her house, never to return,
Without hope that she will come back again.
١. لقد رَحلَت عن بيتِ عودَةَ مريمٌ
بلا عَودةٍ في الدَّهرِ يُرجَى مَنالُها
2. So from Abraham's house I quickly record,
Her transfer to the bosom of Abraham, her ancestor.
٢. فمِن بيتِ إبراهيمَ أرَّختُ عاجِلاً
إلى حِضْنِ إبراهيمَ جَدَّ اُنتِقالُهُا
