1. An army marching endlessly so none may see
How few they are though boundless they may seem

2. Marching on so none may guess their count
However numerous, still limited deemed

3. As though the Lord their guide bade banners be
Standards for them, agents of His esteem

4. To strike their foes with dread before the fray
With menace and with warning to redeem

5. You see the glint and hear the martial blare
And imagine lightning, rumbling, thunder's boom
