Outstripping arrows if doubts assail

4. His weapons are love and his home the grave
When the sparrow spied the seeds that appeared

5. He doubted the wheat amid the furrows
Remaining 'tween hope and caution

6. Driven by greed and exhausted by danger
Then swooped with certainty when he recalled

7. That people of the world are all in peril
Hoping for gain and fearing not harm

8. So the snare captured him with hooks of others
Unable to resist fate and destiny

9. And many desires are mankind's defects
In the turns of nights he is reminded

10. Prudence is to fear where you feel joy
And the last of pleasures, though the bitterness pleases
