Rather where are the loyal and unfailing ones?

5. Where are the masters of scourging?
The feeders, the jabbers, those claiming on each medium!

6. Revealers of harm and forgivers of slaves' sins.
Where are the crafters of amplitude gravid,

7. And words unmatched and singular?
Like the straying poet, or

8. Quss bin Sa’eda Al Eyadi!
Fate toyed with their gathering,

9. Hurling them in every valley!
As though lingering scantly

10. As whiteness amid blackness.
