1. My religion is Hanif and my Lord is Allah
My testimony that none but He exists

2. Glory comes to me only through obeying Him
How excellent the aftermath of obedience and glory!

3. I am humble before the majesty of His power
Turning my sides over its severity

4. So my ribs are aflame with fervent love
And my cheeks flowing with tears

5. Hearts are adorned with the light of His wisdom
And mouths perfumed with His remembrance

6. I am a nation alone in my excess
In my love for Him though people are alike

7. If others go astray in these times
A heart remembering Allah wanders
