1. Every living being will die
There is no permanence in this world

2. Movements that will vanish
Then silence follows

3. Words that are not sweet
After it only quietness

4. O you who pours out drink, tell me
Where is that omnipotence?

So what is this silence?

6. I wish I knew is it deep sleep
That I see or prayer?

7. Where are the angels who
In every horizon have a kingdom?

8. The crowns have been removed from them
And those adornments are empty

9. Their homelands after them
Became desolate after they left

10. No one understands the words
Nor is anyone alive to make a sound

11. Tombs were built for them
And their homes left empty

12. The misfortunes of time did not protect them
When their glory declined

13. Those ambitions are extinguished
And those reputations have ended

14. Indeed, the world is an illusion
Futile, it will pass

15. Man has in it
Nothing but piety as his supply
