١. بِكَ اسْتَقَامَتْ مِصْرُ حَتَّى غَدَتْ
يَحْمَدُهَا الْوَارِدُ وَالصَّادِرُ
2. How could you not have seen the right path,
When you were the one overseeing the government?
٢. وَكَيْفَ لا تُبْصِرُ قَصْدَ الْهُدَى
حُكُومَةٌ أَنْتَ لَهَا نَاظِرُ
