1. Abbas, O best of kings in justice
And most eloquent of those who praised him

2. You have given me your approval and revealed
A face in which I read glad tidings

3. So submit to a kingdom of which you are the full moon of its throne
And pillar of its strength and aid of its banner

4. O you who leads to the attainment of wishes
Repel the sea of its flood and you will win its allegiance

5. He is that king who inherited glory
From himself and from his forefathers

6. Justice is of his morals, knowledge is of
His attributes, and clemency is of his names

7. It is no wonder that he gathered all praise as heir
And aimed with his resolve above his peers

8. For the eye, though small in its size
Can encompass the heavens with its earth and skies
