١. يا نازِحاً وَضَميرُ القَلبِ مَثواهُ
أَنسَتكَ دُنياكَ عَبداً أَنتَ مَولاهُ
2. It distracted you with joys that delight you
So it doesn't cross your mind to remember Him
٢. أَلهَتكَ عَنهُ فُكاهاتٌ تَلَذُّ بِها
فَلَيسَ يَجري بِبالٍ مِنكَ ذِكراهُ
3. Perhaps the nights will keep me hoping
Time knows, and days - their meaning
٣. عَلَّ اللَيالِيَ تُبقيني إِلى أَمَلٍ
الدَهرُ يَعلَمُ وَالأَيّامُ مَعناهُ
