Are clear and obscure.

13. What think you of a people who
Broke pacts and were vile,

14. Saw me as a Samaritan,
Dangerous to touch?

15. Wolves craving my flesh,
Gnashing, tearing!

16. All ask of my state
Yet for wolves, snarling!

17. If time is harsh, water
Splits rock in the end.

18. Though darkened, rain comes,
Floods, nothing lasts.

19. The bright rose wilts
Yet blooms again.

20. See how sleep weighs down
Glory, how musk

21. Crumbles to dust, is crushed,
Trampled underfoot.

22. Let not your love be temporary,
Mine for you lasts.

23. Recall me like a cup
Your hand never put down.

24. Seize sweet nights
For life is but theft.

25. May time show mercy,
For dusk is long.
