So his face shone with success

25. To compare kings to him in ignorance
Is like equating stars to fleas

26. To believe the caliphate lies in another
Is like claiming prophethood for fools

27. Ocean of generosity on days of giving
Lion of might on days of strife

28. Nights travelled with your affliction
Revealing shameless misfortune

29. Are you not the one who cures all malady
Displaying its best face in dawn?

30. Had defeats unveiled their pages
Death lights would gleam from drawn swords

31. May God protect you from all fear
And support you with lasting wellbeing

32. If fortune had allowed us lawfully
To profit from its lucrative trade

33. We'd shun souls full of resentment for you
Though ardent stinginess sears the cheat

34. To exult in innocence fulfilled in you
And delight in pain turned to jest through you

35. My dear, how my eyes rise so high with you
How my soul aspires and vaunts

Reveling in the Abode of Bliss?
