1. I wonder at the rider stopping by a grave in Mu'alla
Wherein lay piety, morals and generosity combined

2. Let your eyes be relieved as tears flow smoothly
Chastity itself wept at this terrible misfortune

3. If you begrudge it, the water from your eyes will water your tomb
The tears of the bereaved, O daughter of the Prophet, will do so

4. May God refresh a pure soul from you
And increase your blessings in His Paradise

5. May God magnify the reward of religion which is arduous
And inspire purity and patience, which is likewise
