1. Her beauty is like a bright garden,
Its days are shaded as if starlit nights.

2. Its branches embrace gently framed,
On the banks of a murmuring brook.

3. Appearing then hiding
Like a drowsy phantom.

4. Adorned as if for her wedding day
In a gown of dark purple,

5. A necklace of unique pearls on her neck,
Her chest shimmering with varied hues.

6. You’d think her rays
Were from a cloudless sky.

7. Her beak and eyes are ruby and jewel,
Her palms are dyed and legs brisk.

8. She turned startled and scared
To the left and right, up and down.

9. She blinked like embers that glowed,
And shuddered as if to spread her wings.

10. She fluttered her tail to spread it
And shook her head as if denying.

11. Sometimes scattering,
Sometimes yellowing,

12. Her wings fluttered
Like flaming sparks

13. Or embers swirling
In a fiery storm.

14. Like a spinning wheel,
Diving and rising,

15. Turning and twisting.
As if they bore spite at each other,

16. Gliding then rising
Like a confused feather.

17. When aloft you’d think her
A fluttering butterfly,

18. And when falling she’d tumble
Like a shooting star.

19. She opened a mouth like a rose bud
Full of fragrant dew,

20. Two of its petals just opened,
Her guts writhing as if giggling.

21. She repeated her song
Only to falter,

22. Just when extending the tune,
It stopped short.

23. Her wings fluttering
Like a water-lily.

24. Marvel at her artistry,
Trilling with perfect pitch.

25. If her describer falls short
In describing her, he is excused.

26. Every eloquent tongue falters,
And every keen eye dims.

27. To portray her is a feat,
As you can see, singular.

28. I have humbled her flight,
Made soaring easy.
