1. The tear has dried up with sorrow altogether
I poured it out and it deserves to pour forth when

2. Yearning for the people of Al-Hawd, yes their country
And for the bliss of the people of that country enjoying ease

3. For that country and its people are the people of love
And they are for a blind man from it, one who escapes blindness

4. And they are for a blind man from manliness of his religion
Sights that see in the darkest nights

5. Al-Hawd is named after the Prophet’s Hawd
And the people of Al-Hawd were rightly named

6. He encamped and flashed close to his country
And Tripoli then Tunis as landmarks

7. And the mountains of Manṭ, the mountains of al-Andalus which
Some of it and in it a clue that has not been resolved

8. And Oujda and Al-Khazir with Tangier
And Tetouan and Rabat and Salé paired

9. And Algiers, Tlemcen and Fes in the west
Meknes or Marrakesh you find them

10. And Al-Hawz then Assouir, or Souss
Or Oued Noun and its land kindled

11. Or Oued Draa where it flows into the sea
With drinking streams of Saguia El Hamra pouring when

12. And Akouis then Ouad and Sefsaf
And Azgour and M’sirda with no asylum of mercy

13. Or Ait Yusouf and Al-Hdib then his country
And Amrekl and its environs, you understand the goals

14. With a Tirs wastelands Adrar lofty
And wide Zmourit and Al-Mazam and Oued Wizn committed

15. S’tioua their hands in gratitude
And Ourui and Abiar yes protected dens

16. And springs of Anouan white Khadals that betray
With fresh waters smiling gently

17. Maidens and a hidden pearl eye
Luring with slack hips erect

18. Arabs and Bedouins, gazelles whose affection
Is an affection for a merchant when he divides

19. So when I looked at her, I looked upon a look
Like a moon shining in deep darkness

20. And if I touched her silk, I felt it
Like peach and a branch when it is gently handled

21. So over there if you see with an observant eye
And a heart put forward coming forward

22. You will know that our country has not been granted
After it by anyone saying that, deterring

23. And evidence of that is Mecca from the towns
And Medina your mount, it is forbidden from it

24. And Mina, Dhiba, Judhaidh and Muzdalifah
Arafat, Safa with Marwah and Hunain or

25. Asfan, Harsha’, Khulais not far off
And Suez which he through it was called

26. May Allah have mercy on Muhammad through it so have mercy
A servant of the Merciful, I seek refuge and he is exalted

27. For the sake of the beloved when he smiled and established
And I saw in this young man a youthful

28. Travel, well-formed, not rejecting a proposer
Memorizing knowledge and weighing it with pure

29. Manners and conduct, he adorns it with generosity growing
So I accompanied him on the path, a good companion

30. And a generous one from his people like a bond
It suffices you to dislike and distance every one

31. Who makes you forget yourself with risks for you preceding
So if you trace his lineage, noble is the lineage

32. And if you serve him, you serve for yourself a servant
So reckon him in your soul happily when you cheer

33. And reckon him cautiously, fearing him, unyielding
And bliss, then good and good for him

34. And not for me from him one who swerves
And all of Egypt and its fences I have toured

35. And Alexandria in it one who bears adversity
For traveling by sea and traveling is for Tangier

36. In which there are plains I attained imagining
So through this the other is made easy for you and its remoteness

37. If they are separated, especially it has flamed
Yearning for the Qutb of the universe all

38. The collection of knowledge, its knowledge will not bore me
With streets for laws and truths

39. For its fountains, scattering and pouring of the heaven
And its loftiness elevates to the throne of our God

40. And for its furnishings a throne and furnishing greater
And its definitive limits of our Creator shone forth

41. Judgment for them with a truthful herd directed
And eternal delights of benign bliss

42. For the Patron generosity in which honored
So He is the virtuous, the meritorious, the merciful

43. With Muhammad it rises praiseworthy, He honors
Preference do more before attached my

44. Hand inclines to it by willingness accustomed
With purpose for it by excellence and astonishment

45. And indeed it was prolonged in it, I do more after
And likewise I do more for favor it attributes

46. To willingness of the praiser in it so it necessitates
And likewise yes and good for it

47. And its example most generous with it most merciful
And better comes or more righteous and good for

48. A sun he, shining and most generous
And imitate this emulating, rather do not stand still

49. And know that you do not fear a deterrent
Until you see including praise of one

50. Other than the Prophet and increase about them greatest
For his traits and attachment and detachments

51. Praised his days for the refuge
So he is the noble in lineage and his deeds

52. Heal recovery my lips a balm
With his generosity a piety with forbearance an ignorant

53. And excellence for others and then the decisive
He gives you an attainment and insight a favor

54. By his acceptance pardon a profitable gift
So his distinction and praise will not be encompassed

55. Light and praise complete smiling
I am satisfied with him and with him sufficiency my authority

56. And with him fundamentals with him I shift forward
And with him an encounter for every critic

57. Or resident praising mumbling mumbling
And with him I walk and if settled with him settled

58. My feet with opening of yaa not mute
And with him my life so if I see with him I see

59. And he sees with him my success and warding of the coerced
And his father the trusted trustee, his qualities

60. Encompassed modesty or generosity decisive
Of vast spirit with hearts, his knowledge

61. Wisdom and knowledge for the people through it he taught
And for his mother Az-Zahra the inheritance of what

62. For the mother Fatimah and it is not touched
And for him a tribe whose affair is not sought

63. And their affair for the generous so they brought together
So you see them in hardships with their calmness at it

64. When descending, their faces smiling
And its branches with its roots lineage sufficed

65. And for good origin the branch pure wherever
So its men build every caliph

66. Beautified and beautify its women structures lamented
So you see them Arabs and they maidens

67. And marvels their Arab maidens smiling
For them chambers darkness and they for it

68. Like full moons best lighting a darkness
All an enemy and what weighs with suspicion

69. From what calls of the Nile or a little
This and indeed I have seen all what

70. I counted and for its people anticipating
West north or right east

71. Arabs and non-Arabs disbeliever or Muslim
So when the winds with spirits blew gently

72. I charmed myself strolling gently breathing
And at dawn I was smiling at it smiling

73. And by its sanctity and its haraam wearing a veil
My purpose in this roaming saying of our Prophet

74. And other than him then rituals clarifying sorrow
And indeed I returned and did not fulfill my roaming

75. That food strengthens eating from them
But love of the homelands its people

76. Enticed us even if remote and bliss what
After taking my needs and benefits

77. And the throwing returns to the lands even if blamed
Without weakness or fear of boredom

78. And tongue of state truthfully saying
And indeed I was satisfied with times with its bitterness

79. Bitter and sweet to the breasts clouded
And indeed I looked with the eye of truth upon this world

80. And beyond it and ahead of it and the hidden
And its kings and leaders its ministers

81. Its scholars and prominent ones not bored
And its males and females and elders

82. And young ones affectionate merciful
And I took its ways I spent with its spending

83. And entered its entrances determined entering
And I saw from it what pleased seen by me

84. Aloof from others harsh
And I accompanied each not interrupting companionship

85. But pasture for his connection contended
And all of them not desiring my stay

86. From with the lowliest to whoever is the creator of discord
And I taught each ignorant of my reality

87. With my ignorance and heedlessness disgraced
And indeed I thanked my God where he turns me

88. Blessings and deflects others hurting
With my needs I praised Him for knowing them

89. And my benefits so for you the most wise
The example of this life is the mirage of the arid desert

90. So its account is water that tires the immoral
So entice for its love and for its people

91. And accompany them income and caution from them
And the people if you accompany so accompany ten

92. And with ten so accompany to be saved from blindness
Intellect and knowledge then your religion and be patient

93. And gentleness, goodness, devoutness and forebear
And propriety and gratitude persistence persisting

94. For one of ten and its people so accompany and persist
And wealth your honor preserve it that you gather

95. And praise is the best wealth take, you will not lack
And if the difficult matter descends upon you

96. Make it easy upon you, it will be easy for it, be reconciled
And take patience of elevation determination and be steadfast

97. For one who is steadfast and hasten where the slope
And your enemy evil be to it loyal

98. Willing and comfort for the loyal if blemished
And man where he is was his talk

99. And his suspicions where deeds decided
And his deeds where food so where is he

100. And debt attributed to the squanderer wherever
And perhaps the enemy manifests friendship

101. And enmity manifests the friend perhaps
Do not look to this and that so beware

102. That the thrower intends farther than his throw
And wellbeing if you attain it is sold

103. Beware that you find your life surrendered
Or that you depend in matters on someone

104. Or that you return a favor decisively
Or that you disgrace a well-mannered one for meagerness

105. Or that you revere an ignorant or blame
Or that you add to yourself morals

106. Manners and conduct your learned nature
Especially traveling and it was said in proverbs

107. From us good ones travel to be completed
And if you want to travel so risk

108. With the generous lineages sufficient protector
And if you want marriage so seek

109. From a house of religion not one blamed
That the companion is desired before their path

110. And the neighbor before the house sought place of descent
And the night be for what you love its concealment

111. And for what you love its appearance days
And for a goal the moon you are eclipsed

112. In the eye of its onlooker forward immersed
And in foreign lands do not accompany a hypocrite

113. For hypocrisy for evil goes away inviolable
And in foreign lands do not accompany a waverer

114. For a waverer is a viper that bites poisoned
And in foreign lands do not accompany a squanderer

115. That the squanderer for devils is noted
And accompany one compatible not hypocritical straight

116. Extravagance remote not stingy a dirham
And accompany a free when you blame he reforms him

117. And accompany a relative who does not change a protector
And accompany good ones for good ones you gain honor

118. One who nears them and by companionship you will not speak
And take like a wand a literate one and hunt

119. For beneficial knowledge whether descended or tied
And when the detested nears take the one who drew near and draw him near

120. So if you do that you will attain the destined
And if flaws sprout in you in time

121. Or deficiency strikes you, journey cautious
And if you want to divorce amicably then stand

122. And travel or make her travel before the deterrent
And three the requital does not requite them

123. A guest and a coveter then a suitor however
And three beware of them do not feel safe

124. An enemy, women, or a foolish fool
And three so oppress and or else you will be oppressed

125. A slave thus and a son and wife so oppress
And three for love make you inherit in time

126. So modesty, propriety, and religion so hold fast
And three revere their honor you gain

127. An elder, sultan, and your father serve
And if the difficult command is cast to you

128. Make it easy upon you, it will go easy to it leave in peace
And the people are like people then their lands

129. Like their lands those with your eye so judge
And compatibility of each that you meet with what

130. Satisfies you from him and doer that rarely
And other than devout keep away from one

131. Who inflames for people of the times every
And contentment most excellent clothing beautify

132. With contentment for by its dignity you will not crumble
And conceal your affairs when you want its success

133. And meanings essence of truth truly so conceal
And leave pretension for the abode even if you reach

134. And leave for other than enabled so you gain
And reality be and balanced with Law

135. And Law with reality for you so encompass
And a way for the people deliver its people

136. And to you from denial of favor compiled
For difference of knowledge is not encompassed by one who besieges

137. And the paths for the Patron after the profitable
And know that I did not mention this desiring

138. And not for me what he desires said and remote
But it is for remembering and benefit of one

139. Who desires for benefit in love filled
And for it having been said after experience

140. He desires it one of heart sincere pure
And if evidence you see the way comes

141. From it comes its path take lead
And time is like the fibers know it

142. Like beginnings and trying a peg they
And indeed I praised after far saying for being

143. Beloved to its hearer and loved learning
With a youth composed it dictates and its arts

144. And its arts in arts advance
I tried when I saw to gift him

145. So I gifted him after my choosing resolutely
So I knew the cub and its father the lion

146. And generous origin is not changed by injustice
So I made him midst heart and its passion

147. Passion for it and our prize hoped for
And by thanking I grew it with a group

148. Gems it loved the love for us composed
So our matters praise initially one

149. Rise with ability of God grow the sealed
And through it my prayers on the Prophet Muhammad

150. For his perfection with its perfection will not worry
And through it I praised upon conclusion and its beginning
