Worshipped, who were torn to pieces,

4. Until a tribe was destroyed, tribe by tribe,
And two tribes together,

5. And the clan of Bakr tasted death, all of them,
And its elite were thrown down,

6. Until we see their limbs and skulls,
With buzzing flies upon them,

7. And we see the birds of prey pecking out their eyes,
And dragging their limbs and ribs,

8. And Al-Musharifiyah does not shy from them,
A troop striking with swords and shields,

9. And the horses charging into the dust angrily,
On the day of battle, not wanting to return.
