1. Patience in the just king is obligatory
So be patient, for the path of truth is hated

2. As long as the people of piety have not raised their flags
The people of tyranny, they are the hated folk

3. The prophet was and revelation guided him
He suffered harm, and patience urged him

4. How often his eyelids shed tears
When his companions oppressed and harmed him

5. If the foolish saw a day when his beard was dyed
With dust and his tooth knocked out

6. Until he went to the land of the Abyssinians, most of them
And the Chosen One, cheeks covered in dust, banished

7. Or they saw him when the rebels descended upon him
In the cave and the truthful companion bruised

8. Or witnessed in Hunain how it was and what
He prayed and what his white army did

9. Or when he reluctantly returned from the Ancient House
And they hinted at blame in that

10. Or when the hypocrites told him lies
In your Lord's promise, O fabricator of lies

11. Or when he and the Muslims said to him
When will God give victory and the religion be supported

12. Had his call in the land lasted ten
The chosen knowledge would be erased

13. No leader who attained it and was poured
Or was poured into him insults and threats remained

14. After they knew with sure knowledge together
That his goal was advice and encouragement

15. But the virtuous were harmed and took heed
So the covenant of the wicked is annulled

16. And today if the disbelievers laugh or mock
Know that tomorrow they will be the ones in anguish

17. If they mock the God of the worlds, then in
The depths of Hell for them is burning and fragmentation

18. After the torment at the hands of the believers, when
The sensitive ones among them have their resolve undone

19. How many faced the path of truth from you tomorrow
Whom foolishness turned away, and truth is hated

20. So be patient with the foolish, the patience of the generous
And be steadfast, for your mention to the complaining is refused

21. Until you see relief from The One, The Unique
All creation in His right hand gripped

22. This remains from all matters for Him
And creation, then if we fear fragmentation

23. And read peace upon the Chosen One, our master
For peace upon the Chosen One is obligatory
