1. Whoever does not repent before the trembling of the spark
Will find ruin under the raging torrents

2. Oh woe to the people of injustice from the injustice of the prey

You are the content one, and the excuse lies with the blamer

6. Have patience a little while, or you will see me riding
On a saddle with twisted straps, worn out

7. I threw stones only at the Banu Rabee'ah tribe I inherited
From a conceited ancestor, from a conceited ancestor

8. Do not rejoice if you see my face radiant
Among the people, while the good are under the dust

9. In my heart from the oppression of enemies is an ember
Whose extinguishing is the pouring of an endless rain

10. If my anger does not speak through my actions
Then my rage is an exhalation in my thoughts

11. How can I be patient when the virgins of the Banu
Qahtan are sold in markets from one merchant to another

12. Religion and life together are at war since
His days are the days of the glory of the shameless one

13. By God, I will not cease to fight the enemies
Except by death or by victorious conquest

14. The gloom over the land will not lift
Except by a piercing stab or a gaping wound

15. I will not attain the beloved if I do not save the
Religions from the grasp of the transgressing betrayer

16. I am a man who has openly sold himself
To God, not to the losing betrayer

17. Even if you do not recognize piety, I have
Prepared it as the doom for the war against the unbeliever

18. How many a mosque lies in ruins after once
Having been inhabited by the remembrance of the devout

19. Where are the Tarawih prayers that
The lion of the world, the Praised Purifier, had instituted

20. What is the matter with the month of fasting, no fasting in it
What is the matter with the sweet relaxation of wine

21. O sanctity of Islam, O religion of guidance
O sanctity of the enlightening splendid remembrance

22. O chosen nation, this is our mustering
So seek victory through the aid of the Victorious Helper

23. But the mustering on the frontiers is listless
And the mustering in our lands is like the apathetic

24. Where are the high-minded and the zealots and the prey
Or where are the people of glorious valor?

25. O she with anklets, O she with vitality
O she with fine luxurious garb

26. I weep for the Banu Qahtan, if they do not save
The whites whose tears flow like rain

27. How many ankleted and bejeweled women
Were brought by traders from trader to trader

28. After this disgrace, there is no disgrace, nor
Does anything diminish it but the bowing of heads

29. Though death is inevitable, when will I meet
A brother of harmonious mind and willing heart?

30. Before me, it afflicted Ahmed, victim of enemies
Until he was granted victory through the aid of the Victorious Helper

31. Blessings upon him, Lord of the Heights, at noon
