إن الخلافة زينت اكليلها
The caliphate adorned its crown
من شيمة الحر الكريم
It is the mark of a noble man
وقائل لي أراك ليس تشبهها
And one says to me, I see you, you do not resemble her
أين الصفا والخلق المرتضى
Where is the kindness and the virtuous character
اصخ لي أيها الملك الهمام
ما بال أخلاقك تلك الحسان
