1. Whose banner flutters in the plateau of royalty,
Its horizons have emerged from the gloom of confusion,

2. Winds of victory waft its clouds away from it,
To which hands extend and necks bow down.

3. The blessed council ratified its pledge firmly,
By consensus it was implemented categorically.

4. Umar ruled by the right of Muhammad,
So a covenant of loyalty and pact was registered.

5. Are my eyes seeing a dream or wakefulness?
Do you have evidence regarding the dilemma?

6. An outpouring of God’s grace spreads across the land,
Markets abound without doubt.

7. And freedom where partridges congratulate the meadows,
And agriculture watered by rain stands on stems.

8. Previously the specter of dreams did not walk surely
And blindness roamed freely on earth.

9. Rain held back while the land cracked,
Religion and world glared and frowned.

10. Every group raised for mischief a banner,
And every path sheltered for harm a vagrant.

11. Verily, he is from the House of Jacob an heir
For whom the Ancient House yearns and longs.

12. He has from the wing of the soul a stretched shade
And from the fluttering of divine glory a porch.

13. He looked upon the world after its light had returned
Gloomy while eyes stared in horror,

14. And horizons shone from the light of their Lord
As kindness and compassion from God roamed through it.

15. Then tongues declared thanks to God
While before there was for Him a whisper and concealment.

16. No repealer for what God has resolved
And no effort made successful by God fails.

17. O Muhammad, you have revived the religion of Muhammad
And for people miseries overflow and sustain.

18. And had it not been affirmed, blood would have covered
The face of dawn from swords of mischief in the land spilled.

19. So proceed confidently leading the ship
With God’s guidance it berths and anchors.

20. It carried you while reptiles showed obedience
And the surface of the water rippled turquoise.

21. So schedules for reform were put in place
And integrations from success and prosperity ensued.

22. Blessed is He who guided you as a mercy to creation
And remote is that the Creator would neglect creation.

23. He is God testing people with good and evil
And days are poison and antidote.

24. From you the necks of mankind submitted to a caliph
For whom in the scope of fortune is devotion and servitude.

25. And they said, are crops that his palms reap
Abundance overflowing upon the prosperous or provisions?

26. Those who praise you are profuse but do not suffice
Just as your generosity does not cease or deplete.

27. Are you not of a people whom when late rain clouds fail
A cloud of dew shelters and gratifies?

28. Are you not of a people whom when terror spreads in darkness
Their faces shine radiating light?

29. Gardens, when the prosperous rests in their shade
In them is produce filling palms and pouring bounty.

30. Your father and the crown prince, had they survived fate
Your excellence would have surpassed even if they were supreme.

31. So who has a grandfather like yours or father
For whom pearls and layered glory cascade?

32. The distinction of the elite House of Jacob is
That they are the origin while people branches.

33. Lions of litters or full moons of noble ladies
When at war they observe pact and when at peace they agree.

34. To obtain perfection their nights are long
For they are lovers of high morals and virtues.

35. If the party forgot your grandfather’s favor
Shackles from it would wrap around their necks.

36. The exit of his grandson from his inheritance was justified
While papers did not record what they drafted.

37. And without what they attempted is God’s power
And without what they schemed for victory are barriers.

38. Take pardon and show them courtesy
And tolerate the immorality of those who betrayed you.

39. Sometimes the zeal of Hyena diminishes
And the gall of the tribe mellows although they are sharp.

40. People are but sinful sons of sinners
And God has upon them grace and deference.

41. And hope not in matters except He who
His treasures harm no spending.

42. If He gives the prevention of a preventer does not harm
Even if Tasm and Aad and Amalek collude.

43. You knew sedition and the transgressors took you exclusively
Borders of those who carry the cross and depths.

44. So He made easy relief and revived thereby the land
While intimidation against you lightened and flashed.

45. Then reward God’s work and increase by thanking Him
Gifts of generosity whose rain upon ages pours.

46. So perform for one who performed and suffice he who sufficed
You are generous whose veins are pure.

47. And congratulations O Master of Kings for caliphate
Whose dawns yearned and longed for you.

48. Indeed their souls have achieved their ultimate wish through you
And many who longed attained the union they coveted.

49. None thereafter diverted them from the course of time
Nor any prayer of fortune attained their company.

50. My Master, time has diverted my flock and disdained me
So my eyes are fearful and heart throbbing.

51. For my fracture none today can mend but you
And my hands can only cling to your glory.

52. And for you in me is affection and regard I have planted
Whose foliage with bountiful praise flourished.

53. My patience in awaiting a caliph has worn out
Through whom the causes of harm may depart from me.

54. You are God’s sword and God is the victor
You are God’s trustee and God is the sustainer.

55. You are the trusted sanctuary from fate
If solid resolve and exertion do not exist.

56. And none below you has sincerity in splendid praise
For him in you is an accord that pleases and releases.

57. If he says “Every ear to his word listens
And every self refractory to him is defiant.”

58. And blood pulsating flags with your victories whenever
You went for a purpose failing you did not.
