1. These eight have crossed the dark night
In their journey an example for the pilgrim

2. They passed and a hopeful obtained
What he wished of its places and longed for

3. So he strengthened the resolve that did not fail
And held onto the night that had passed

4. Fear drives him back and he calls upon it
When fear obeys the caller of hope

5. He crossed the land so it said farewell
And plunged into the sea so it said survive

6. And held onto what remains so the steps hurried
And passed by what is fleeting so did not waver

7. My Master this is the approach of the passionate
So allow whoever comes near or stumbles

8. And take from traveling in it an approach
From one who praises the Glorious and from one who blamed

9. And read the copy and leave the secret
Of the meanings - its lines interwoven

10. And how can one not secure the inheritance of the sublime
One who inherited the supporters and allies
