1. O spot on the frost well known
The sun fears it, so does not rise
١. يا بُقْعَةً بالجَمْدِ مَعْروفَةً
تحْذَرُها الشّمْسُ فَلا تُشْرِقُ
2. You see the eyes of water go blind in it
And the eyes of fires do not speak
٢. تَرَى عُيونَ الماءِ عُمْشاً بِها
وأعْيُنُ النّيرانِ لا تَنْطِقُ
