1. Congratulations on the high rank you've been granted
Though the envious dislike it and detractors resent it

2. The Most Merciful specially chose you—Exalted is His Majesty—
With a miracle attributed to Solomon.

3. One of his jinn was unsettled by his throne
So the world cast before him thrones of submission.

4. When he saw them as a temptation, he fell prostrating
And said "My God, grant me forgiveness."

5. "And grant me a kingdom after this that is not fit
To be taken by human or jinn after me."

6. So when He answered his prayer,
He gave him glory never granted any man.

7. If this matter was unique in history,
You are the second to follow his example.

8. So meet God's blessing with thanks, seek His help,
And reward the kindness of the God with kindness.

9. By the right of the One who named you Muhammad—
If youth could return from it rejuvenated—

10. Joy for your blessing would not have reached
The perfection of a loyal ally, not a betraying ally.

11. I am the frank servant, my affiliation announced,
As you are my noble master and sultan.

12. When you possess glory, kingdom, and fortune,
I have attained my goals and returned to my homelands.
