Six have passed of time

2. As though a string of pearls slipped from it
The falling of six pearls from a necklace

3. Plundered is time, at every moment
Its plucking is the sweetest of fruits

4. And it demands its right insistently
Without retreat or hesitation

5. So be attentive to it, it is jealous
And throw yourself to it, everything perishable

6. And name aside from creation you remain
And from the harm of creation, in safety

7. Without longing or separation
Neither time nor place

8. So which monastery without the Other
And where is wine without cups

9. And where is one who reveals secrets
And where is one who understands meanings

10. Who sees the single string without the double
And sees the individual without a second
