١. أقولُ واللّيْلُ أعْياني تطاوُلُهُ
وأوسِعُ الذّمَّ والتّعْنيتَ أسْوَدَهُ
2. My night wouldn't dare to be too long for me
Your motto, O Abbasids, strengthens it
٢. ما كان يجْرُؤ ليْلي أنْ يُطاوِلَني
شِعارُكُمْ يا بَني العَبّاسِ أيّدَهُ
