1. The healing of Iyaad is a healing for souls
So it's not a secret virtue he has concealed

2. A gift of righteousness that for its abundance
Only reward, beautiful mention, sufficed as recompense

3. He did justice to the Prophet’s right of loyalty
The most generous of all noble traits being loyalty

4. He brought it like a sea saying through its merit
The sea has a sweet and clear taste

5. And the Prophet’s due after his death
Is to tend to him, neglecting rights is harshness

6. It is a treasure that helps outfit one’s life
And leave heirs residual wealth

7. It is the praiseworthy legacy that neither
Decadence nor destruction can touch

8. I was eager in spreading the fame of his merit
And glorifying him if capacity allowed
