1. We suffered drought, then the rain of mercy poured down
So thank you, O dove, for your cooing
١. قَحَطْنا ثمّ صابَ الغَيثُ رُحْمَى
فشُكْراً يا حَمامُ إذا لَغَطْتَا
2. And O rain of contentment, flow gently upon us
For you have fallen by the will of the All-Knowing
٢. ويَا غَيْثَ الرِّضى عنّا انْسِكاباً
فأنْتَ علَى الخَبيرِ بهِ سَقَطْتا
