So I became like the companion of one gone astray

11. Lamenting away from the path
For you are my highest treasure

12. And fortress of my noblest zeal
You are the sum of my causes

13. When causes are lacking
I found you my equipment and richness

14. When gold disappears
If you had not kept me back

15. While my mind slips away
And with much flowing pearls, a people

16. Where no rift comes between
I sacrifice for you the stars of green

17. Neither non-Arab nor Arab
And you remain for eternity in clouds

18. Of blessings that pour forth
