1. With pearls white as silk worm's cocoons her mistake grew
And she went too far even with coils in her braids
١. وبِيضٍ كَدودِ القَزِّ زادَ اشتِباهُها
وأفْرَطَ حتّى بالتّكونِ في التّوتِ
2. I wondered at her in boxes of gems
Adorned with the rubies among them
٢. تعَجّبْتُ مِنْها في بَنادِقِ جَوْهَرٍ
يُزَيِّنُها ما احْمَرّ منها بِياقوتِ
