1. Its homes and dwellings aroused longing,
With the shining early dawn of revelation beaming,

2. Ships braving waves as if they are
Ships swimming in the sea of mirage gleaming,

3. To you, O Messenger of Allah, their determination tightened
And the darkness left them shining.

4. They endured from the visitors of your tomb some youths
Who adhere to the guidance and dissent.

5. They are most humble if they incline with remembrance out of awe
And if they recite it then doves cooing loud.

6. Your two companions, how I yearn for them
Their wings toward the pilgrims flapping.

7. One endured longing without being able to attain
And one remained with excuses like one departing.

8. Love drew near when the home was far
So here it is, getting closer, migrating.

9. And here you are, O human, the eye of his certainty
In the meadow of the one who attained the most beautiful traits traveling.

10. You struggled to the Lord of Beauty meeting
So O man you really are struggling.

11. Congratulations to you, pilgrims of the soil of guidance
For attaining your goal with striving for God succeeding.

12. You descended upon the abode of the best to walk the earth
And most generous whose plain and hills are terminating.

13. The exalted angels frequented them
When the Book descended clouds drifting.

14. God shined on them the manifestations of His light
So in them the traits of the Abode of Peace gleaming.

15. It reached the most exalted spot of the Throne
Those sublime and towering ascents.

16. Messenger of humanity came with truth so
The clear proofs in the horizons of certainty beamed.

17. His successor delivering his Lord's message
Trustworthy regarding Islam to God counseling.

18. A rescuer yet my sins and soul, my soul
And my senses are witnesses against me watching.

19. For him are the manifest miracles as if they are
Flashes in the horizons of certainty flaring.

20. Like his informing of the unseen, for with him
Are keys to the doors of the unseen secrets latching.

21. And on the day of Badr when he threw a handful of dirt
The multitudes of polytheism turned and fled running.

22. And he was given the wooden stick in the midst of the struggle
So a sword from it to shed blood came gushing.

23. He called upon God to send rain so His sky responded
With rains from clouds pouring down fast flooding.

24. And he threw to the rear of the army his cloak
So it was generous to him though stingy and measuring.

25. And the thirst of the army was quenched by the water of his well
For God has there overflowing springs bursting.

26. And on the night of his birth manifestations emerged
Continuously for God among us flaring.

27. The palaces of Syria were illuminated by them and the
Features of what they encompassed were uncovered.

28. And the palace of Chosroes was guided to it in awe
And the fires of Persia were extinguished from it blasting.

The valley of Samawa parted for it and recoiled

30. Contracting the tail of fertility in it encroaching.
And the sword of the king saw a vision so

31. His senses were alarmed by remembering it quaking.
And his soothsayers informed him that his land

32. Was opened by the Master of the Arabs vanquishing.
So who is like the Messenger of God a refuge

33. When afflictions from time over people came crashing.
His care for sinners is great

34. When on the Day of Judgment sins are exposed blazing.
And we followed his guidance so we were guided by his companionship

35. And his companionship is nothing but stars shining.
They eradicated devils of misguidance and his

36. Path of truth was adorned by them illuminating.
And the dawn of their certainty dispelled the night of doubt

37. So the face of realities became unambiguous beaming.
And for the upright religion proofs were established

38. By them falsehoods were refuted clearly convincing.
They are the highest ones who bought guidance with their souls

39. So it draws them into the Garden of Eternity far-reaching.
They shepherded the right of the Messenger’s will

40. So advice among the Muslims spread from them disseminating.
And there still remains among them in Islam leaders

41. Who champion the religion of guidance and stand unwavering.
And from their children they beget every supporter

42. Who makes the armies of adversity retreat evacuating.
So who is like my Lord Yusuf

43. When the boastful kings are enumerated vaunting?
His hands spread blessings in the land

44. So their days are righteous nights progressing.
Leader of guidance, best of those God granted rule

45. And lofty pillars raised him elevating.
If the signs of caliphs in splendor are ambiguous

46. Then your unambiguous signs are illuminating.
And if their sublime feats are narrated

47. Then your great qualities are true and authenticating.
And if praise of virtues competes

48. Then to the least of them you stand inclining.
You established the rituals of the birth of the Messenger

49. Through them may God forgive sins of the disobedient absolving.
The gentle breezes were proud with praise of Muhammad

50. For by the remembrance purity in them is diffusing.
When in it the pages of his praise are published

51. And the eulogies through them are circulated infusing.
From the land of India caravans came to you

52. From the scent of musk of the two abodes perfuming.
It is the blessed night, for you one night is enough

53. In which the star of the religion of God shone dazzling.
When its horizon of light rose for me

54. Then my heart for it became tinder of eloquence kindling.
So O night of the birth none like you deserves praise

55. And easiest that eulogies to you are offered submitting.
If you accept its delegation with favor

56. Then you gracefully accept the praises in you instilling.
You gave it life, reviver of guidance, rites

57. Through them God your chest expanded disclosing.
Congratulations, through your state satisfaction is achieved

58. Eyes in the meadow of justice from you gazing.
For people are only of two types: a praiser

59. Of the virtue you grant and another eulogizing.
Remain supporter of the religion so long as an opponent crouches

60. And so long as a rebel in the branch of the throne transgresses.
