1. O Yahya, you gave drink where life was revived,
So excellent is the valley and excellent are the dwellings.

2. And the signs that watch over you,
Stirred the people after stillness.

It came to take what they untie.

4. So he who claims sorcery submitted unwillingly,
And the idolaters surrendered because of it.
