1. Endless praise to Allah as is deserved
For He is the One veiled in the garb of honor

2. The Hidden, the Manifest, the True One that confounded
The perceptions when they intensely sought

3. Exalted above description is He whom nothing can perceive
And Sublime beyond cause is He who originated the cause

4. And gratitude to Allah in the beginning and end
For Allah is the Most Generous in giving and granting

5. Then peace upon the evident Light and the one
Whose signs left no room for lies or falsehood

6. Muhammad is the best whose intercession
Is hoped for tomorrow and each is recompensed for what they earned

7. Possessor of miracles whose proofs shone
So people witnessed wonders in His signs

8. And no miracle compares to Allah's Book
Remaining through the ages be they long or short

9. Blessings upon him whom He guided with the light of guidance
As long as the wind blows gentle breezes after the south wind

10. Then pleasure with Abu Bakr and Umar
Two moons after him chosen for the faith

11. And after, Uthman of the two lights third of them
Who attained inherited and earned glory

12. And Ali father of the two grandsons fourth of them
Sword of the Prophet that did not waver or bend

13. And the rest of the Family and noble Companions for they
Resembled stars in the sky of faith

14. And after, His Helpers ever loyal for they have
Virtues that overwhelm those who count or reckon

15. They sheltered Him when terror befell His home
And fought those disobedient in His religion and refused

16. And they inherited from Bani Nadir's victory
Successors and connected after Him the lineage

17. And not forgetting our Master Yusuf whom nobility
Graced his traces and the eminent chiefs

18. And after this speech of truth I have presented
That is presented by one who writes or orates

19. I have attained from the loftiest traits a period
Where I unleashed the steeds of thought affiliated

20. An emirate which victory by its dome
Became a pillar of glory and we were logs around it

21. I walked in it upon the approach of the Imam my father
And often the noble son resembles the father

22. So the first thing I presented in my youth
After collecting virtue and manners

23. Is that I made Allah's Book my foundation
The soul unaware in studying it of any fatigue

24. As if whenever I recited it with my mouth
I inhaled musk or tasted syrup

25. Until I attained a share of it to preserve
So Allah made parts of it easy for me to learn

26. And soon with Allah's help I will complete it
For one who seeks may attain the goals

27. So may Allah reward the Leader of Muslims, my father
The best reward for the rights he deserves are many

28. And blessings that showered me from him abundant
And established clouds of kindness for me in the sky

29. Qais he named me and titled me with my father's name
Qais bin Sa`d - so magnify through it lineage

30. With what thanks can we fulfill the essence of his bounty
If the clouds orelm trees were commissioned for it

31. And may Allah reward my elders with His mercy
And those who helped, dictated and wrote

32. And praise to Allah in conclusion after beginning
However long the lightning flashes or clouds pour
