إذا ما تجلى النور في جنح ظلمة

Like dawn dispels the gloom of night

١. إذا ما تجلّى النّورُ في جُنْحِ ظُلْمَةٍ
جَلاها كَما تجْلو الدُّجى غُرّةُ الفَجْرِ

2. Marvel not that ink may change its hue
For your face makes dark as ink shine bright

٢. فَلا تُعْجَبَنْ للحِبْرِ أن حالَ لوْنُهُ
فوجْهُكَ يجْلو ظُلْمَةَ اللّيْلِ والحِبْرِ
