1. I went to my Master Abi Umar al-Ridha
Seeking what would please the Will through him

2. And the flood of my concerns had overflowed
So his bounties would carry me over them

3. And I am pleased with what he is pleased for me
Even if his forefathers worshipped idols

4. And my thoughts about the Imam and his grace
Are assured, by Allah, not wavering

5. So he attained what he desired of his Lord's grace
While the mother of whom evil is desired for him is falling
