١. وبَحْريٍّ تَلاعَبَ في شَريطٍ
وجِيءَ الفِعْلُ متّصِلَ الصُّموتِ
2. It dangled, climbed, soared and dove
Amazing in its cohesion and steadiness
٢. تَدَلّى وارْتَقى وسَما وأهْوَى
فأعْجَبَ في التّماسُكِ والثُّبوتِ
3. We said, if it's an ordinary human
It has the instincts of a spider
٣. فقُلْنا إنْ يَكُنْ بَشَراً سَوِيّاً
فَفيهِ غَريزَةٌ منْ عَنْكَبوتِ
