1. O grandson of the Supreme Saint
And the one granted glory in the hereafter and dignity in this life

2. You made my days easy and welcoming
And revived my companionship after it had died, O Yahya

3. I was nothing but thirsty for you, seeking shade
So you provided me shade and quenched my thirst

4. You made virtuous what you deserve
Without keeping any conditions or hesitation

5. Whenever I reflect on your virtue
That the tongue surrenders to when exhausted

6. I say you quenched the thirst of Badis aligned in life
And God's pasture expanded its breadth with pasture

7. The palm of the clouds wove it a dress
You see the splendor of light on its neck as jewelry

8. For the meaning of my father Ya'qub held captive in his shrine
The righteous yearn to put in the effort

9. The rescue of those transgressed and the light of those guided
And the refuge of those led astray, wandering

10. I made you, O Yahya, a means to Him
On it is my reliance in death and in life
