1. And we are people whom horses know our battle cries
When the clouds of arrows rain blood
١. وَإِنّا أُناسٌ تَعرِفُ الخَيلُ زَجرَنا
إِذا مَطَرَت سُحبُ الصَوارِمِ بِالدَمِ
2. And we give half to one whose grievance we would redress
Whether he concedes or spurns the nobility of the oppressed
٢. وَإِنّا لَنُعطي النَصفَ مَن لَو نَضيمُهُ
أَقَرَّ وَنَأبى نَخوَةَ المُتَظَلِّمِ
