1. My God, the Merciful
My God, the Able

2. O Creator of the universes
O You the Subduer

3. I am Your humble servant
I am Your repentant servant

4. I am Your obedient servant
I am Your erring servant

5. Forgive my mistakes
And pardon my sin

6. And send me goodnesses
And have mercy on me, my Lord

7. Enough, you there
You have annoyed us greatly

8. Have you not heard the praises
Of the valleys and plains?

9. Is the one you worship
The solid rock?

10. Or is your Lord the Guide
Deaf, does not hear?

11. O jealous of the Religion
For that unbelieving transgressor

12. Who blames the faith
If the judge were fair

13. He would spend the night in anxiety
Or be led to hanging

14. Kicking or getting slapped
My God, the Exalted

15. Turn him into an ape
And make him shunned

16. And deafen him
And leave him defeated

17. And make his life miserable
Perhaps he will be guided

18. Perhaps he will be humbled
Do not waste your precious time or spend

19. Your nights in idle talk
And rest from the toil of your day at night

20. So you may glow with radiance
Neither prostration nor glorification

21. Are of any use in the world of the living
Verily those who made you a powerful Lord

22. Are the fabrications of poets
Suddenly a bright light overwhelms

23. The old believer and the young man says
Lord, I have disbelieved, so forgive my sins

24. And pardon me, for You are the Greatest of forgivers
Do not punish a servant who did wrong out of ignorance

25. It is enough that he is unknowing
And the Able God is too great to

26. Take the servant like an enemy trespasser
My servant, I have pardoned you though indeed

27. How many wrongs the servants do to masters
And My mercy encompasses the heavens and earth

28. And does not narrow down from My soldiers
Except that I am tired of all My creation

29. And of the ungrateful and worshippers
And of the ostentatious worshippers falsely and wrongly

30. And of the ambitious and the ascetics
The unbelievers reckon I will be wrathful

31. For their unbelief as if they are My rivals
And likewise the believers thought that I

32. Am desirous of their prayers and guidance
Inform the people, O servant, that I

33. Will neither reward nor punish My servants
We have pardoned all who came with sin

34. And what has passed of the epochs
My good servants have what they want

35. Of reform or corruption
They have the gain in life if they

36. Take the path of guidance in the lowly life
And the corruption is their loss if they

37. Take the paths of villainy in life
Truly, neither punishment nor reckoning

38. In another world
Truly, God has pardoned

39. The believer and unbeliever
Then my glorifications did not benefit

40. And my shining youth was wasted
Alas, the chance has passed and turned away

41. I did not benefit from it or quench my thirst
Alas, I spent my life in asceticism

42. And prayed night and day
How much did I shun pleasures while my heart thirsted

43. For them and my self inclined to them more
Hoping for Paradise and the maidens in it

44. Like the morning glow trailing their skirts
I will fulfill my soul's rights even if I have

45. Become an old venerable man after graying
I will not let an opportunity pass or miss it

46. And be ignorant
I am surprised by our ascetic sheikh

47. Who shunned asceticism and piety
And returned to his ignorance after purity

48. He did a bad thing indeed
If devoutness is hypocrisy

49. And greed and not guidance
O sheikh of villainy, if you think

50. Our nature is merchandise
Then I do good

51. Not out of fear or greed
