10. Earth's lamp resplendent and while breath is left
Shall blaze, till ended all the days bereft.

11. Thy Vizier's rede first raised the Empire high;
But lofty works alone 'neath lofty heads can lie.

14. To utmost bounds they sinned and so didst thou,

O'er passing in tale that by the noblest told or heard

18. And met in many a tribe that never met
Ere this, and never after now shall meet.

19. Who comes to thee, ask aid though lances rest;

20. From these harsh pains shall naught the chased ones free
Save seeking mercy and all actively.

23. With rich enclosures where thy bounties dwell

25. I see them coming on the wings of might;

26. A folk whose pride ancestral all extols;

32. The summit aspiration's wings unfurled,

35. Their praise denied, what praise can I express,

37. My praise-how can it equal thy deserts?
