١. قد قلتُ للشيخِ الرئيسِ الذي
تُعزى إليه الحكمةُ البالغه
2. That the sciences you had elucidated
For us with that convincing proof
٢. إنّ علوماً كنتَ أوضحتَها
لنا بتلكَ الحجّةِ الدامِغَه
3. Almost rival revelation, but they
Were sent down from an empty chamber.
٣. كادت تُضاهي الوَحيَ لكنّها
قد أُنزلت عن غرفةٍ فارغَه
