1. There was a Badr in Egypt
Who had power over it

2. He would kill every hour
A group of its people

3. And shed blood
Until it seemed like water

4. He corrected it with his sword
And his injustice and deprivation

5. The reward for every deed
For him was evil killing

6. When his son disobeyed him
And his distress from him became evident

7. He immediately destroyed him with his hand
Then he threw away his body

8. So the victor became angry
And said this is unacceptable

9. He said if he disobeyed me
My heart within my body

10. I would rip it out from my chest
And it would not be deniable

11. Then he invaded his states
When he thought they were his enemies

12. So when he tied the prisoners
He said kill them violently

13. Twenty thousand they were
Until the battlefield flowed

14. In the Nile from their blood
And he penetrated their homes

15. While he was on the back of the horse
Like a predator when it pounces

16. And he died with his nose arrogance
His tyranny was not moderated
