١. لَقَد شاقَكَ الحيُ إِذ وَدَّعوا
فَعَينُكَ في إِثرِهِم تَدمَعُ
2. Its ravens called you to parting -
Yet you seemed not to hear.
٢. وَناداكَ لِلبَينِ غِربانُهُ
فَظَلتَ كَأَنَّكَ لا تَسمَعُ
