1. Praising the Prophet brings peace to the anxious soul
So praise him, composed or impromptu lines extol

2. Do not dwell on lands or eras of the past
Nor wander to abandoned camps amid the dunes

3. But sing the beauty of Allah's beloved matchless and alone
For in his praise all praise and verse become whole

4. His scent surpasses the sweetest flower
His lineage from Fatima, the shining star

5. And Ali, best of men, perfection did sire
When I praise those born of his brilliant fire

6. My praise reflects the master of messengers entire
Muhammad, greatest prophet, by all is admired

7. Lesser prophets bowed to him, his favor desired
None matched his noble form or character so pure

8. All found in him a friend, loving and demure
Study his blessed ways for in them finds the soul its cure

9. Free thought takes wing in his wisdom's secure anchor
And eloquence flows from his branches forevermore
